Our History
Nigel was raised by a single teenage mother, from an early age, Nigel faced numerous challenges and obstacles that seemed insurmountable. However, through his determination, resilience, and the unwavering support of his mother, he defied the odds and emerged as a shining example of triumph over adversity. Growing up in a neighborhood plagued by crime and poverty, Nigel witnessed firsthand the negative influences that surrounded him. Many of his peers succumbed to these circumstances and fell into a life of crime or substance abuse. However, Nigel was determined not to let his environment define him. Recognizing the power of education, Nigel immersed himself in his studies. He excelled academically and became known as a diligent and dedicated student. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and he spent countless hours at the local library, devouring books on various subjects.Nigel's journey from a young man raised by a single mother to a successful professional is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and unwavering support. Despite facing numerous obstacles, he never lost sight of his dreams and worked tirelessly to overcome adversity. Through his story, Nigel serves as an inspiration to others who may be facing similar circumstances, showing them that they too can defy the odds and create their own path to success.
Vision
To witness teenagers and young adults up to 21 years old, male and female transition to adulthood with the knowledge, skills and experiences learned through our programs. To see the manifestations of their applied knowledge work for them as they pursue their goals, fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
Mission
We are a 501(c)(3) striving to educate and raise awareness of the prevention of substance abuse, teen pregnancy, sex trafficking and domestic violence to our members, surrounding communities, schools and with community partners. To make available relatable focused programs and activities to teach and encourage young teenagers and adults safe practices and lifestyles for living a healthy and purposeful life.
